Yan Li is a pianist currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of North Texas with a teaching assistantship in collaborative piano, where she studies with Steven Harlos, Elvia Puccinelli, and Willem van Schalkwyk. She previously served as a staff pianist at the Tianjin Juilliard School.

She is an active collaborative pianist, performing with a wide range of vocalists and instrumentalists across diverse musical settings and ensembles.

Her formal training began at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance. She later completed a Master of Music degree in Collaborative Piano at the Tianjin Juilliard School, where she studied with Natalia Katyukova, Katherine Chu, and Allie Su.
