Piano Belt Program

Skill based piano group class.

The Harmony Hall Music School Piano Belt Program is a skill-based system that guides students through progressive levels of piano mastery. Each level requires students to practice and master specific techniques and music theory. Once proficient, students take an exam to advance to the next level. This program fosters consistent practice, builds confidence, and highlights students' achievements in their piano journey.

  • Advancement to the Next Level:

    • If a student passes the promotion test, they can move on to the next level.

  • Reassessment for Progress:

    • If a student does not pass the promotion test, they will remain at their current level for one (or more) month to refine their skills until they pass the exam.

  • Practice and Preparation:

    • Students are encouraged to practice regularly and attend all lessons to ensure readiness for their promotion test.
