His undergraduate studies were completed at the State University of New York at Potsdam's Crane School of Music, where he earned a B.M. in Vocal Performance in May 2023. Throughout his time there, Nicholas was consistently recognized for his excellence, making the President’s List from Fall 2019 to Spring 2023, and developing a secondary emphasis in violin.
Nick has studied under notable instructors, including Clifton Forbis and Michael Scarola at the Meadows School of the Arts, and Colleen Skull and Liesl Schonberger Doty at the Crane School of Music.
