Jiwoo Seo

Violin Piano & Voice

Jiwoo Seo recently earned her Master’s degree in Orchestral Conducting from the University of North Texas, where she also studied harpsichord and performed with the UNT Baroque Orchestra. During her graduate studies, she served as a collaborative pianist for both the UNT Symphony Orchestra and Concert Orchestra, gaining extensive experience in ensemble collaboration and orchestral performance.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Choral Conducting from the Korea National University of Arts and began her formal music training in violin and composition during her secondary education. In Korea, she conducted amateur orchestras and developed a strong passion for music education and mentorship.

In addition to conducting, Jiwoo has an extensive background in piano performance and collaborative accompaniment. She has worked as a pianist for choirs and churches in Korea and has taught piano and music theory to students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians. Known for her thoughtful and encouraging teaching style, she focuses on building strong technical foundations while fostering musical expression, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
