Huijie Gao is a violinist and educator based in Dallas, Texas. She holds a Performance Diploma
in Violin Performance from Southern Methodist University’s Meadows School of the Arts and a
Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance from Manhattan School of Music. Her training
includes study with distinguished violin educators including Diane Kitzman, Patinka Kopec,
Grigory Kalinovsky, Tong Weidong, and Jin Ming.

As a performer, Huijie has participated in solo, chamber, and orchestral performances in the
United States and China, including performances at the Meyerson Symphony Center and the
National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing.

Huijie is passionate about helping students of all ages develop strong technical foundations,
musical expression, and confidence. Her teaching approach focuses on building healthy playing
habits, improving tone and intonation, and encouraging each student’s individual musical voice.
She enjoys working with beginners, young musicians, and advanced students, and is dedicated to
creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment.
