Camila Hernandez is a skilled cellist and dedicated music educator with a passion for nurturing young musicians. A graduate of Brigham Young University–Idaho with a B.A. in Music, Camila studied under Dr. Robert Tueller, focusing on performance. She has honed her craft through various significant roles, including teaching private lessons and performing in competitions such as the Idaho Falls Concerto Competition, where she received a call back for the final round in the senior division.

Camila is the driving force behind the Rocky Mountain Cello Festival, a project she co-founded to bring together cellists of all ages for immersive musical experiences. The festival, which began in Rexburg, Idaho, has expanded to Bozeman, Montana, attracting over 50 participants in both locations. Her leadership and organizational skills have been integral to the success of these festivals, providing a platform for community engagement and musical growth.

In addition to her work with the festival, Camila is an active performer, bringing her cello expertise to weddings and other special events, creating memorable musical experiences. Her commitment to music education is evident in her private teaching, where she focuses on developing her students' technique, artistry, and love for music.

Camila's achievements also include winning the Senior Concerto Competition during her high school years, participating in the All-State Orchestra for four years, and competing in the Honor Orchestra for six years. Her bilingual skills in English and Spanish, combined with her leadership and management abilities, make her a versatile and effective educator and performer.
